'Fossil/Human' was a collaborative exhibition by illustrator, Bonnie Eichelberger and sound artist Luke Elliot, A.K.A The Dreamer and His Pillow.
The exhibition explores the idea of evolution, from the big bang to the present. The work features illustrative hand-letterpressed prints accompanied by a two part explorative musical soundscape, released on cassette tape.
Originally exhibited in Melbourne at The Hungry Workshop in 2015, the exhibition featured original paintings and a live performance of the soundscapes.
Fossil/Human also travelled to Speedy Grandma Gallery, Bangkok in 2016. The Bangkok edition gave the artists the opportunity to share both of their skills through workshops. A drawing workshop was held with the neighbourhood children, to help them create a mural for their local noodle shop. The kids drew animals and plants inspired by the Fossil/Human artwork.
